Kenneth Y. Chern, MD is a partner and the Chief Information Officer for Seaview Orthopaedics. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University with High Honors (magna cum laude). He received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Chern completed his clinical training in orthopaedic surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After his orthopaedic surgery residency, Dr. Chern completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Chern has specific expertise in surgery of the shoulder, knee and hip. Dr. Chern is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is currently chairman of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department of Ocean Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey. He has privileges at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey and Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey as well as outpatient surgery centers in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
